Your choices
You can browse the website with optional storage switched off. The only optional storage in this theme remembers which homepage photograph to show next. It is on by default, and you can disable it below. These settings apply to this website in the browser and device you are using.
What cookies and local storage do
Cookies are small values a browser stores for a website and may send back with requests. Local storage keeps values in your browser until they are removed; unlike cookies, those values are not automatically sent with webpage requests. Both can remember choices, so this page covers both technologies.
Necessary storage
Preference record: When you allow or disable photo rotation, this local-storage item remembers that choice and its expiry time for 180 days. It is used only to apply your privacy setting. It does not contain your name or email address and is not sent to the website operator by the theme. Expired choices are removed on your next visit.
WordPress can use cookies for authorized administrator login, session security and login testing. These are associated with signing in to manage the site; ordinary visitors do not need to log in. These controls do not disable authentication or security cookies. There is no public account-registration feature.
Optional appearance storage
Homepage photograph sequence: Unless you disable it, this local-storage item records the next photograph’s position so selected background images rotate in order on homepage loads. It contains a sequence number, and the storage key identifies the site and configured images. It does not track the pages you view and is not used for advertising or analytics.
If you disable rotation, the sequence is deleted and future homepage loads use the first configured image. The current photograph may remain until your next homepage load. After the 180-day preference expires, rotation returns to its default enabled setting on your next visit. Clearing site data in your browser removes it sooner. An inactive device may retain data until you return or clear it.
Analytics, advertising and external services
The current theme includes no analytics cookies, advertising pixels or embedded social-media trackers. There are no analytics or advertising categories to enable here. If these services are introduced, the notice and controls must be updated before they are activated.
X, Facebook, LinkedIn, company websites and a future newsletter signup provider have their own privacy and cookie settings. These controls do not change settings on those services or disable cookies installed by unrelated browser extensions.
Changing or clearing your choice
Return to this page using the footer link at any time. “Enable photo rotation” enables the appearance feature; “Disable photo rotation” switches it off and removes its stored sequence. Either choice can be changed later. No saved choice means photo rotation is enabled.
Browser settings can block or delete cookies and local storage. Deleting this site’s stored data resets photo rotation to its default enabled setting. If your browser prevents storage, the site keeps optional rotation off and the controls will explain that the choice could not be saved. You may need to make a separate choice in another browser, on another device, or after clearing private-browsing data.
